Joanne Jones
Consultant Speech & Language Therapist
Joanne Jones is a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist with more than 20 years’ experience of working with Early Years children in the NHS and as the founder of her own preschool.
She has helped more than 3,000 families in 32 countries – giving them the knowledge and tools needed to support their child's speech, language and communication needs.
Famous for her empowering speech therapy programme for late-talking children, ‘Can-Do’, Joanne also authored the Amazon best-seller ‘Ditch the Dummy: The Gentle Way’. A member of The Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists, Joanne has appeared on BBC Radio and ‘The One Show’.
Vicky Robinson
Consultant Occupational Therapist
Vicky is a children's Occupational Therapist, specialising in children with sensory processing difficulties. She has worked with many families within both the NHS and private online therapy services, helping parents to meet their child's sensory needs. Vicky has worked collaboratively with EY settings, mainstream and special schools, to educate and support staff in the implementation of sensory processing strategies within the school environment.
Vicky has worked as a Highly Specialist Children's Occupational Therapist within the NHS for over 17 years and has completed her post-graduate training in Sensory Integration.

Who is this training for?
This training package is for any practitioner working in either mainstream or special provision, who would like to improve their knowledge and skills in supporting children with sensory and communication difficulties.
Will this only help children with a diagnosis?
No, the strategies we provide in this training will support ALL children in your setting. You will explore ways to make your class more sensory and communication "rich" so that all children will benefit. You will also learn how to delve deeper into specific sensory and communication challenges for those children that do have a diagnosis and/or you have concerns about.
How many of our staff can access the training?
The training package is for your whole staff group, so each practitioner can login and access the training. In fact, we actively encourage that ALL your staff work through the training together - this is a whole team approach that will enable your setting to thrive!
Do we get any support to complete the training?
Yes! What is unique about NEST is that we are here to support you each step of the way. Which is why we have created an option for your staff to access a monthly virtual drop-in clinic in which they can ask questions with your OT and Speech Therapist. You must enroll via the "NEST Training + Therapy Support" option.
What is the difference between the NEST Training and the NEST Training + Therapy Support package?
The NEST Training package gives you access to the online training ONLY. You do not gain access to the monthly drop-in clinic.
The NEST Training + Therapy Support package includes access to the online training PLUS the monthly drop-in clinic for 12 months, in which Vicky and Joanne will support you and your staff.
Do you offer refunds?
As this is a digital product which you have full access to as soon as you enroll, we do not offer refunds.
